In the efforts to assist young orphaned women to make a life for themselves and their siblings, a tailoring school was established. The project has been commenced in 2000 and is situated at Nyaigando in Bukoba Tanzania. It aims at financially sustaining itself within the next few years by selling products which are being produced by the girls.
The vocational training lasts for 3 years, where the graduate must have passed all tests and exams of both theories and practical and the trainers have assessed and satisfied that the student is able to manage herself in tailoring/sewing activities.
